Plaza Torino's opened as a pick up and delivery pizzeria in Tecumseh Town in 1971. Gerry Deluca founded the business as Chef and owner in partnership with his brother-in-law Philip Coppola. The Pizzeria was moved across the street in 1982 where it expanded it's services to include a full-service dining room with an extensive menu including a variety of pasta, veal and seafood dishes. A quality catering service developed along with a 400 capacity banquet hall in 1989. The dining room was later extended to include a beautiful solarium for private parties.
